The theme of tonight's meeting was morse code! Everyone learnt how to write and read in morse code, but most importantly how to send the s.o.s signal! Next week we will be finishing our canvas paintings.

All our preparation and practise was put to the test this week as we started work on our giant beaver picture! This time we were doing it on canvas not paper so it had to be right first time, luckily everyone has done a great job so far and next week we will be finishing them off.

This week the beavers were practising their drawing skills in preparation for decorating the new scout hut. Each beaver was given 1 of 24 parts of a photo of a beaver. Then they had to draw what they saw onto a larger square of paper and colour it in.

Everyone did a brilliant job and next week they'll have to be even better as they'll be doing it again, but with paint!
