We've just had the details through for the Sports Day on Saturday 2nd July. The event will start at 10am finishing around lunchtime. A team of 9 will be chosen after the Athletes Badge event at this Thursday's Cub meeting. It would be really helpful if you could let your child know if they will be able to take part in the Sports Day if they are selected.
By way of reminder, your child will need to wear clothing they are comfortable to run in for this Thursday's Cub meeting. They should bring their uniform as usual and bring a drinks bottle for the evening.
Fun Hike - 20th August
We're running a Fun Hike on 20th August around the Chevin Forest Park area. The Hike will consist of 6 activity bases with a short hike between each. The idea is that Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will travel around the course as part of a mixed team taking part in physical or mental activities at each base. There will be a BBQ afterwards.
Cubs will need to bring a parent or guardian with them to form part of the team. We will be sending out some forms for you to register your interest soon.
