Happy New Year to you all. I hope you had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year break. A quick note about Cubs for the start of 2012.
Cub Meetings
Cub meetings will resume this evening, Thursday 5th January, at the usual time of 6:45 until 8:15pm.
New Building
You've probably heard from the Cubs that we're now making use of the new building with a number of activities having already taken place in the new meeting rooms. We were very grateful to a number of parents and leaders who helped to decorate the new rooms during November which has transformed the new meeting rooms.We now have some finishing off jobs as the various trades have finished their work in the building. To add the finishing touches to the building, we're organising a working party on Saturday 14th January between 9am until 3pm. There are various jobs to do including glossing doors and wood work, laying insulation and boarding out the upstairs storage area. To help with these jobs, we could do with parents to come along on the 14th and bring the following tools:
- Painting gear for glossing
- Hammers
- Saws and other wood cutting tools
- Protective clothing to help lay roof insulation
We'd be grateful for any help that you can provide on the 14th, even if it's for only part of the day.
